After spending 10 years as a teacher, and two as principal, Bridget Ronan has been named Head of School at St. Catherine’s Academy (SCA).
Sister Johnellen, OP, previously led the school for 17 years and has worked closely with Ronan to prepare her for her new position beginning in Fall 2024.
“Sister Johnellen walked with me and was a wonderful source of encouragement when we talked about me stepping into this role,” Ronan said. “I know and love this school, these cadets and staff very well, and I look forward to giving them my absolute best.”
Bridget said she looks forward to continuing the hard work of spreading the message of the school’s mission to new families and donors across the country.
“I look forward to all our boys being on campus and to hit the ground running with the amazing staff and faculty we have here,” Ronan said. “We’re the best school for boys. We have a committed faculty and staff who teach academic, leadership, and life lessons that our boys can’t get anywhere else. We truly pour our hearts into this school to help them to be who God has created them to be.”
Bridget and the SCA staff and faculty will welcome day and residential students back on campus next week for registration. The first day of school is on August 19.
