Last week, Head of the School, Bridget Ronan, Military Director, Staff Sergeant, Tyr May, and two residential cadets dropped by the Anaheim Fire Department, Station #1, to drop off toys that were donated by the school's families and community.
"We're so happy to see our St. Catherine's community come together this holiday season," Ronan said. "This is also a great lesson for our boys as they get to see first-hand what a difference they can make when focusing their prayer and efforts on others."The toys, plushies, and board games will be donated to ABC7's Spark of Love Toy Drive. The news station build community partnerships all across Southern California to collect new, unwrapped toys for underserved children and teens in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Orange Counties. One of the fire fighters who helped unload the SCA van said it was one of the largest donations they've gotten all season.
